Abstract

This article analyzes the socio-philosophical work of the Egyptian enlightener Mustafa Kamil, "Ash-shamsu mashriqat" (The Rising Sun). In addition, the idea of the "Japanese model" as a model for the peoples of the East is revealed in its essence.
