Abstract

The study examined digital literacy and its role in enhancing positive selfdevelopment among university freshers in Delta State. Digital literacy encompasses not only basic technical skills but also critical thinking, the ethical use of technology, and the ability to adapt rapidly to evolving digital environments. Positive self-development refers to the cultivation of attributes such as self-efficacy, self-regulation, motivation, and mental well-being, which enable students to thrive academically and personally.
