Abstract

This research aims to shed light on the role played by the methods and techniques of analytical procedures, both descriptive and quantitative, in raising the level of quality of the audit outputs represented by the auditor's report, because of that report's significant impact on economic decisionmaking processes for internal and external parties, and for the purposes of implementing research hypotheses and achieving its objectives. The financial reports of the research sample company have been qualitatively analysed, in addition to describing how the auditor chooses and uses the various analytical procedures methods and indicating the impact of each method in achieving the objectives of the audit process related to financial operations and account balances and then ensuring their quality. The research reached several results, the most important of which was The descriptive and quantitative analytical procedures have a major role in ensuring the accuracy of the account balances and the health and safety of the financial operations carried out by the company, while the research recommended the performance of the auditors for the various methods of analytical procedures in order to implement the audit process and reach the lowest acceptable level of audit risk, and then achieve the highest level of quality .
