This article examines the conceptual foundations for improving the investment climate based on innovative methods for increasing resource efficiency in the energy sector of Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the study, the relationship between resource efficiency, innovation, and the investment climate is scientifically substantiated, and their integration is considered as an important factor ensuring sustainable development in the energy sector. The work analyzes the scientific approaches of foreign and domestic scientists and substantiates the interpretation of resource efficiency not only as a technological result, but also as a complex economic category related to investment, management, and the institutional environment. The study also used economic and statistical methods, including statistical observation, comparative analysis, dynamic assessment, and synthesis, and assessed the state of use of alternative energy resources in the energy sector.
