THE ELECTRONIC SUPPLY CHAIN AND ITS IMPACT ON ENHANCING INSTITUTIONAL PERFORMANCE QUALITY: AN OPINION SURVEY STUDY OF A SAMPLE OF ADMINISTRATIVE LEADERS AND EMPLOYEES AT AL-SHIRQAT GENERAL HOSPITAL

Abstract

The present study seeks to identify the positive role of the electronic supply chain in addressing the problems confronting the service sector through enhancing the quality of institutional performance and overcoming the challenges arising from both its internal and external environments. To achieve this objective, a survey study was conducted to assess the extent to which the administrative leaders at Al-Shirqat General Hospital in Salah Al-Din Governorate are aware of the research topic. The study reached several conclusions, most notably that there is a statistically significant effect of electronic supply chain management, as reflected in its activities, on the quality of institutional performance at the hospital under investigation. In the light of these findings, a number of recommendations are proposed for the hospital's management, emphasizing the positive role of the electronic supply chain in enhancing the quality of institutional performance.
