Abstract

This article examines modern legal mechanisms for preventing corruption in the investment processes of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of the transformation of the national public administration system and the intensification of investment policy. Based on an analysis of legislation governing investment activities and anti-corruption measures, the study reveals the content of the key concepts of investment law, the specific features of corruption risks throughout the investment cycle, and the role of anti-corruption review, digitalization of administrative procedures, and compliance mechanisms in ensuring the transparency of investment decisionmaking. Particular attention is paid to identifying latent corruption-generating factors arising in the course of the application of investment legislation and to the need to shift from fragmented control mechanisms to continuous riskoriented monitoring
