Abstract

These changes are driven by a disruption of water-salt metabolism and c omplex physiological realignments caused by heat stress. The body differentially regulates the protein synthesis of various pancreatic enzymes in response to heat shock. The combination of multiple stressors (hyperthermia, sun exposure, and lack of movement) leads to a more pronounced decrease in exocrine secretion (release into the intestine) and endocrine secretion of enzymes compared to the effect of a single factor. This must be taken into account when designing dietary regimens and assessing the health status of individuals exposed to such conditions
